Capturing a precious moment and creating a unique image is what unites most of us with a passion for photography. An image that sometimes starts with a vision, and at times it starts when you see the light falling beautifully on something mundane, which suddenly makes it extraordinary.
While I enjoy capturing landscapes, I am truly passionate about freezing that moment of genuine expression: curiosity, love, excitement. Be it in your equine or furry companion...or in yourself.
I am a behavioural and mental health scientist, based in Amsterdam for my PhD research. I am fascinated by the plasticity of emotional memory and how we can change these memories to help people feel better. Curiosity to unravel the unknown and experiment with novel approaches is a trait that comes in handy for both, my passion for research and photography.
